About Me

Filmmaking Speech

Foundation

I've always wanted to make a difference. Filmmaking was a distant and expensive dream. Although this was my major, I quickly realized when working for California Waste, that I could make difference anywhere. My true passion was working hard and helping others. Thanks to the scholarship the job offered me, I decide to pursue great things and I joined education and marketing for Cal-Waste.

Growing up

After graduating college I left filmmaking behind to pursue a more stable income. I wanted to better myself and my family who worked so hard for my success. Sacramento International Airport (SMF) offered me a huge learning experience from supervisor to station manager. I successfully ran flight operations, conducted training scenarios, aircraft towing, payroll, and gave people the opportunity to become a part of something greater than themselves. I was happy and realized I found my home.

End of the Chapter

During my journey at SMF. I received a phone call from my previous internship to work for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. Currently, I love my position and to get to be involved in operations from Gangs, Major Narcotics, Special Investigations Bureau, retail theft, human trafficking, and internal training projects. There are long nights and a lot traveling as I also help assist other federal agencies, but I am privileged to be where I'm at. I get to explore my creative passions and make a real difference in my community. In Sacramento!
